How to Craft Forge Patterns 1.20
Method 1: Pick up the forging sample from the chest
Currently, the most basic way to get a forge sample is to explore the world and pick up the forge sample from the chests inside the building such as Fortress Ruins, Ancient City, Temple in the Forest, Stronghold Fortress, Shipwreck, Desert Temple, …. However, first you need to update or download Minecraft 1.20 to your device.
Each building will only exist a single type of forging sample, so collecting forging samples will be extremely difficult, especially in dangerous buildings. You can refer to the rate of receiving forging samples in different projects as follows:
– Netherite Upgrade Forge Pattern: Appears in Fortress Ruins at 100% in treasure chests and 3.2% in other chests.
– Coast Armor Trim: Appears in Shipwrecks at an 11.1% rate.
– Dune Armor Trim: Appears in the Desert Temple at 11.1%.
– Forged Eye Armor Trim: Appearing in Stronghold Fortress, shrine chests have a rate of 4.8% and chests in the Library have a rate of 9.1%.
– Forged Rib Armor Trim: Appears in Nether Fortress at a rate of 4.8%.
– Forged Sentry Armor Trim: Appears in the Bandit Outpost at a rate of 20%.
– Forged Snout Armor Trim: Appears in Fortress Ruins at a rate of 4.8%.
– Forged Spire Armor Trim: Appears in End City at 4.8%.
– Vex Armor Trim: Appears in the Forest Mansion at a rate of 4.8%.
– Forged Ward Armor Trim: Appears in the Ancient City at a rate of 4.8%.
– Forged Wild Armor Trim: Appears in the Temple in the Forest at 20%.
Method 2: Clone the forging pattern
Although it is difficult to find, the forged model only serves to decorate the armor and upgrade equipment. Therefore, Minecraft allows you to use 1 available forging pattern to clone an identical forging pattern. This means that you only need to find 1 unique item of each type of forging pattern to be able to use it at your discretion without worrying about it all.
To be able to clone a forging pattern, you need to have 1 forging pattern available, 7 diamonds and 1 block compatible with that forging pattern. Each type of forging pattern will be compatible with 1 different block, namely:
– Netherite Upgrade forging pattern needs Hell Stone.
– Forged Coast Armor Trim needs Cobblestone.
– Dune Armor Trim forge template needs Sandstone.
– Forged Eye Armor Trim Template Need End Stone.
– Forged Rib Armor Trim template needs Hell Stone.
– Forged Sentry Armor Trim pattern needs Cobblestone.
– Forged Snout Armor Trim template needs Black Stone.
– Forged Spire Armor Trim needs a Purple Heart Block.
– Forged Vex Armor Trim needs Cobblestone.
– Forged Ward Armor Trim needs Deep Cobblestone.
– Forged Wild Armor Trim needs Moss-covered pebbles.
If you have enough materials, you can duplicate the forging pattern by placing the forging pattern in the center of the top row, the center is one block corresponding to the forging pattern and the other is diamonds.
In Minecraft version 1.20, players also added a new and more beautiful Sniffer mob. Details about
